It's Fall

We had the school field trip to the farm/pumpkin patch today. The weather here has been all over the place, but today really felt like fall. Its about 63, patchy sun, and windy. Pony rides, feeding and petting lots of farm animals, a hay ride, and then picking out pumpkins. Plus, they had a lot of places for the kids to just run and play and be loud and crazy.

Something's going on with my camera, I'm not really sure what, so I didn't get many pics. DJ has a cute little pumpkin and we are going to try and paint it this weekend.

Even with a few warm not-so-fall days mixed in, it's definitely fall. The leaves are changing, the nights and early mornings are pretty cold. I really like this time of year and it's one of the nicer times to live on the east coast, because there aren't a lot of evergreen trees, so you really get to experience the leaves changing and things like that. I do miss my evergreen trees, though!

I love fall. I keep seeing pictures of pumpkin patches and I think I might go in search of one to take the kiddos to, I think they would enjoy it. Or at least I would.
