I previously posted that it didn't feel like fall. A few days later, it got really cold and it couldn't be more fall-like now. I like that we need sweatshirts and jackets and if we were to be out early enough, hats and gloves would be required too. Its in the 30's at night. I love that I can pile blankets on the bed and snuggle down under them to sleep.
Before that happens, I have been presented with an opportunity. Right now, I am an assistant teacher in the Pre-K class. There are three classes at our school, a 2 1/2-3 year old class, 3 1/2-4 year old class and then Pre-K. The youngest class has two assistants, and one of them has decided to leave. Its a lot tougher class than the Pre-K, because the kids are so much younger, but I could use the money and I think it could be fun. It means some extra stress on DJ, as he would be in school all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I think he can handle it. So, I'm
The pictures that are mixed in with this post are from the pumpkin patch trip at the beginning of October. One of the mom's in DJ's class is a professional photographer and took hundreds of pictures that day and gave a disc to the school. As the teacher I assist doesn't have a working computer at home, I volunteered to go through the disc and put together an online album, which we will then email to the other parents, so they can get the pictures of their kids at the farm.
