Its been near 80 or over 80 for the past few days and will be for at least another day. It certainly doesn't feel very fall-like. It does, however, look fall-like, and I enjoy that very much. Just a quick picture of our street, looking fallish, despite the summer temperatures.
We are busier than ever these days. I can't decide if I like being busy or if I feel overwhelmed by it. It helps the time pass, but I'm tired all the time. After the New Year, things should settle into a routine, but until then, its going to be busy.
School is going very well. I love teaching! It's kinda funny, because as much as I teach, I'm actually learning more. DJ is doing well in Pre-K. Always Mr. Social, he gets into trouble for talking or not using his "inside voice" a lot. Overall, he is learning lots and fits in quite well.
We have three birthday parties in the coming weeks, five Halloween related activities, including a costume party, his party at school, a non-scary harvest festival at a nearby park, trick-or-treating on Main Street the day before Halloween and then the trick-or-treating on the actual day. He has two different costumes, a Monkey and Thomas the Tank Engine.
I get to go home for Christmas, for sure, and now there is a possibility that DJ and I will travel back to Washington for Thanksgiving as well. I am super excited!!!
