With the heat index expected near 100 degrees today, we are staying inside. Since we were stuck inside a good part of yesterday and tomorrow is expected to be hotter, we're getting a little stir crazy.
Grandma Joan had an idea to have a picnic in the basement. We made some sandwiches and got some snacks and drinks, spread out our picnic blanket and had a little picnic lunch. It was a nice change of pace.
